谢菲尔德大学景观系是英国最大的景管系，其景观硕士课程于1968年设立，是目前英国景观教育的先驱，景观设计专业的本科阶段实行“4+1”模式，其中一年在企业实习工作。硕士阶段则有两种选择，一年制的硕士课程(1Year MA in Landscape Studies)进行的是景观学习，景观研究，毕业后可从事城市规划、公园设计等职业;而两年制的硕士课程(2 Year MA in Landscape Architecture)主要学习景观建筑设计、规划、管理。
